
Austin Mayor Lee Leffingwell will honor Mack and Sally Brown by proclaiming Jan. 30 “Mack and Sally Brown Day” in Austin. The proclamation ceremony will take place tonight at 5:30 p.m. at Austin’s city hall.
The city said the proclamation will recognize the Browns for their years of devoted service to Austin and the University of Texas.

State Sen. Kirk Watson will make a presentation on behalf of the Texas State Senate and UT student body president Horacio Villareal will make a presentation on behalf of the university.
The ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday in the council chambers at City Hall.
