Everyday is a great day, especially when it is your day. Jun 27, 2023 has been proclaimed Dylan Campbell day by Sylvester Turner, Mayor of the City of Houston Texas.

Imagine you are just living life, doing what you love, working hard, and just being yourself. You wake up one day and sure enough you had a massive impact on the world such that the entire City of Houston with a population of 2.2 million people recognize you for the impact you had, the person you are, and the player you embody.

We have interviewed Campbell several times this season. He is soft-spoken, some would say shy, unassuming, and yet you get the sense he is a fierce competitor with a cannon for an arm that can throw anyone out from deep right-field.

Donovan Campbell, Dylan’s proud dad called him a “humble dude” in his social media post when he shared the news. We could not read what the Proclamation read so we asked the City of Houston if they would share what was entered into the official records. See below
