The start of Summer Camp is right around the corner. The University of Texas recently announced that starters Quandre Diggs, Mike Davis and Jaxon Shipley  will be limited during the first part of camp.

Diggs and Shipley had small procedures on what the program describes as 'lingering hip injuries', and Davis is recovering from hernia surgery.

All three players are expected to be ready to go for the season opener against New Mexico State on Aug. 3tst.

Both Shipley and Davis were  No. 1 and No. 2 in receptions last year and come into summer camp as the established starters. Diggs is a preseason Big 12 first-team selection.

In addition, Josh Turner (the No. 2 safety on the depth chart) is also limited due to a hip procedure.

The news wasn’t all bad on the injury front as three other starters — defensive end Jackson Jeffcoat (Who we predict will be the Defensive Most Valuable Player), offensive tackle Josh Cochran and guard Trey Hopkins (also on the preseason All-Big 12 team) — have been cleared for action.

Here is a video to get you pumped up for the season!
