Longhorn Weekly with Charlie Strong Debuts Wednesday
Longhorn Weekly with Charlie Strong kicks off at 7 p.m. Central Wednesday on participating Longhorn Radio Network affiliates, including the Austin Radio Network, and is simulcast on Longhorn Network.
The official one-hour weekly radio show of UT's head football coach features in-depth conversation about the team, the upcoming opponent, and more, and is held at Pluckers (2222 Rio Grande, Austin, 78705) before a live audience.
"Voice of the Longhorns" Craig Way serves as the host and there are special guests throughout the season. This week's guest is head soccer coach Angela Kelly.
During the season-opening show, Strong will preview the 2015 season, which begins on Saturday, Sept. 5 when the Longhorns play at Notre Dame.
Longhorn Weekly, heard each Thursday during the football season, airs on radio affiliates across the state, including flagship 104.9 FM in Austin. The show can also be heard on TexasSports.com and on satellite radio Sirius Ch. 117/XM Ch. 202.
