No. 17 Texas Men’s Basketball doubles over Arkansas-Pine Bluff 63-31

AUSTIN, Texas — In the 13th to last game to be played at the Erwin Center, No. 17 Texas could not be stopped, scoring 63-31 in the first meeting between two teams. 

No. 33 Mitchel scored 14 points and had five rebounds hitting 4-7 FG. No 0 Allen had eight points seven rebounds, #32 Bishop hit six points seven rebounds, and #13 Febres put down seven points with three rebounds. 11 of 13 players scored for Texas with 24 points coming off the bench. Texas' scoring % was 51.8 while Arkansas-Pine Bluff had a scoring % of 22.

Texas hit 18 (29%) three pointers, and 30 (48%) two pointers.

The Erwin Center was not packed, but 10,513 fans showed up to watch Texas Longhorns Men’s Basketball. After the game, fans rushed the court and players signed autographs.  

Texas heads to Las Vegas to battle Stanford on Sunday Dec 19 at 2 p.m.
