Texas Baseball jet to Miami for Regionals
[Texas Longhorns Baseball] will jet off to the Coral Gables Regional (just 18 minutes from downtown Miami) to play Louisiana in the first game on Jun 2 (FRI) at 1pm.
Texas is seeded #2 and Louisiana is #3. The winner will play the winner of Miami (seeded #1) and #4 seeded Maine.
Today we watched with the team inside their locker room to find out who and where they would play. After finding out, the team cheered, clapped, then went back to work.
Dylan Campbell, Eric Kennedy, and Coach Pierce spent some time with media [In The Dugout] after the announcement.
One question we asked was, "What do they look forward the most about this part of the season?"
As if it was just another day at the office, players emerged from their locker room and started to practice and get ready for Friday.
The loses at the Big 12 Championship was a learning experience and they are focused on returning to the type of play they had against West Virginia. The game will be aired on the LHN.
