Texas Longhorns football remains undefeated in Sarkisian era

This seems absurd considering Texas’ official record of 4-4. Texas just finished playing Baylor and lost 31-24 the same way they lost against Oklahoma State 24-32, Oklahoma 48-55, and Arkansas 21-40.

While there is no denying when a team gets the ‘W’ or the ‘L’, the final score is the final score, Texas remains undefeated, resolved, determined, and resolute regardless of the record.

This season under Steve Sarkisian no team has beat Texas, they lost each game usually in the 3rd or 4th quarters. OSU head coach commented that they knew Texas was a better team. This is critical because coach Sarkisian commented in the news conference after Baylor, “One of these weeks we are going to get over this hump and when we do, we will be a very dangerous football team.”

Sarkisian knows winning, what it takes, and the work required. Listening to him discuss the team, he is proud of the work the team is putting in, is honest in saying Texas has the talent and skills to win, and is not shy of confronting what Texas needs to work on.

Sarkisian goes on to say, “One thing I know is that we will continue to fight, we will continue to grind at this thing. It’s the only thing we know how to do, and I know how to do.”

Texas Longhorns remain resolved, determined, resolute, and undefeated.

I like exploring the why's and have three objectives. First is to give value to those who would spend time with our content. Second is to be respectful of others and for the opportunity to tell a positive story about all of the Texas Longhorns teams, players, and coaches regardless of their record. Lastly, to put wind in the sails of others using the Horns Illustrated platform. Life is GOOD!
