Texas Women’s Basketball Coach Schaefer talks behind the scenes
AUSTIN, Texas - Now with their 9th straight 20+ win season, head coach Vic Schaefer shares what happens behind the scenes that make the players and team successful. "You have no idea how hard these girls work," says Schaefer.
Schaefer sad down with media and we asked coach what happens behind the scenes we don't get to see that makes the players and team so successful.
Academic All-Big 12 Team
Three senior Texas Longhorns women's basketball players and one sophomore were named to the 2022 Academic All-Big 12 Team.

named to Academic All-Big 12 Team in first season of eligibility
The criteria for being a member of the Academic All-Big 12 first-team, a player must maintain a 3.20 or better, and must have participated in 20 percent of their team's scheduled contests. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and met all the other criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.
