Something about Steve Sarkisian you may not know. During the season on Monday's and usually Thursdays we get to meet with coach Sarkisian for his LHN press conference and pre-game presser. There usually is 15-20 reporter in the room and it does not matter who you are or what question you ask, Sarkisian makes you feel like you are the only person in that room.
He never gives quick 'next question' answers and looks at you as if he was on your show doing a one-on-one interview. It is remarkable to be a part of and it is 100% genuine. The above photo is of Coach Sarkisian answering one of our questions.
Arch Manning coming to Texas because of the relationship Sarkisian and Milwee built makes perfect sense. Bijan Robinson commented last season when asked about his relationship with Sarkisian saying they had an excellent relationship and in fact Sarkisian recruited him to play for Alabama when Robinson was in high school. So he was over joyed that Sarkisian was at Texas and has an enormous amount of respect for him and all the coaches.

He has an enormous amounts of respect for everyone, especially his players and staff and it starts with his mom and dad.
