Hudson Card and Quinn Ewers sat down with the media and took questions after practice. This was Quinn's first time talking with media since transferring to Texas.
Coach Sarkisian, and players such as Jordon Whittington, have described Ewers as cool, calm, and poised. Sarkisian said, "He is cool, but not too cool for school." After watching the video, you will get some insight to Ewers. Both players were relaxed and handled all the questions professionally. Ewers was asked about his hair at the end, but almost did not answer because he was going to be late for class.
For Card, there is a confidence he may not have had last year. You get a sense they both are appreciative to be at the University of Texas playing football and appreciate working together. There is a sense they both have a comradery. Both players were asked about the past. Ewers response was from something coach Sarkisian shared with him, "That's why the rearview mirror is so small and the windshield is so big. You kind of put the past behind you and focus on what's ahead. I'm super excited for what's ahead for sure."
