The victory — the second consecutive sweep for Texas — kept the Longhorns perfect against West Virginia; UT has won all 13 matches between the schools.

Junior Micaya White had a team-leading 14 kills for the Longhorns, along with three digs and a block, while freshman Brionne Butler registered 10 kills, six digs and five blocks.

Sophomore setter Ashley Shook directed the UT offense with a team-high 35 assists, as well as four digs and three blocks. Logan Eggleston added nine kills and three blocks, Katarina Luketich had six kills, and freshman Sydney Peterson had a team-high 13 digs. Peterson has recorded double-digit digs in eight of UT’s 11 matches this season.

Texas will be back in action at 8 p.m. Wednesday when the Longhorns travel to Fort Worth to face TCU in a match that can be seen on ESPNU.
