We remember most people and events that were first. We remember the first president, man on the moon, our first car, first kiss, and first concert.

Over the next two days at the University of Texas you can see, up close and personal, both men’s and women’s first basketball games played at the new Moody Center.

New arena, new floor, new seats, new everything and the experience will be AMAZING. No. 12 Texas Men’s Basketball hosts No. 10 Arkansas Oct. 29 (Sat) at 3 p.m. for a charity exhibition game.

Texas and Arkansas have competed 155 times over the years. Their first on Feb. 26, 1924 in Fayetteville, AZ. Arkansas leads the overall series 87-68.

By the way, Texas Men’s Basketball first varsity game was held March 10, 1906 in Austin against Baylor, and Texas won 27-17. Note: the score will likely be higher in this game.

Come Change The World! When you and your family attend that game, you will be taking part in a most excellent endeavor that will change the world. All proceeds from the game will be donated to the Seedling Foundation and Break the Pipeline.
